0HI-POD has introduced a support site for independent HI-POD owners and operators. Now (as an independent HI-POD operator) you can post what you are covering directly to the hi-pod operators site. This allows operators a chance to let people know what you are working on, what sport you are currently covering and how to contact you for employment. Another great way that HI-POD supports its customers.
0(August 25, 2009) HI-POD starts off the high school football season by traveling to Ohio to cover the Kirk Herbstreit Challenge at Ohio State University. This event brings together some of the best teams in Ohio to compete with teams from Florida, and California. Watch some of this footage on www.hi-podcasts.com
Next HI-POD covered the same event in Texas at the new Dallas Cowboy stadium. Once again this brought together some of the best teams of Texas, Utah and California. Watch some of this footage on www.hi-podcasts.com.
HI-POD has continued the tradition of covering some of the best games in southern California and offering it on the www.hi-pocasts.com streaming channel. Watch some of the best high school football in the country.
0(UCLA, CA-July16,2009) HI-POD demonstrated the 31foot HI-POD for InterMilan by letting Inter TV use the unit for the live broadcast of their scrimmage with the UCLA soccer squad. The HI-POD became the 4th camera for this broadcast, and thus opened up the shot possibilities. Unbelievably, our consumer camera was able to tie into the professional broadcast with little or no quality issues.
0HI-POD shot and streamed the entire Amherst 7v7 passing league tournament. All games are streaming at hi-podcasts.com. We congratulate William Campbell high School. Not only the winners of the tournament but also the smallest of the 14 participating schools, with approximately 300+ students. Watch it all at hi-podcasts.com
0(May 22-26, 2009 – Sarasota, FL) HI-POD was in Sarasota, FL for the US Soccer Development Academy Spring Showcase. The job consisted of capturing High-Definition video of 220 Soccer games (each shot from 31ft HI-POD X4 units) all in 4 days.
The weather extremes challenged HI-POD’s Extreme Camera Monopods, but the heat, humidity, rain, & fog did not prevent HI-POD’S aerial sports cameras from doing their job. Each game was captured regardless of the weather conditions.
This tournament also introduced the HI-POD Tournament Van. In addition to being able to deliver 30 HI-PODS to any location across the United States, the Tournament van also delivers: dvd mastering & duplication services as well as multiple channel video streaming services to any tournament that requires it. Now with rapid deployment, setup and breakdown, HI-POD can assist your tournament by shooting it, and delivering it to your customers via dvd fullfillment or video streaming. And the streaming can also be setup as pay per view.
