HI-POD was on the scene. We set up a crew all the way across the street from the Shrine Auditorium, across two lanes of limo traffic, and still we were able to get decent red carpet shots with our 15 foot in the air vantage point.
0New York City, August 28th, 2003- MTV hosted its annual Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall in the heart of the Big Apple. With the longest red carpet in MTV history, the Hi-Pod was on the scene and able to take advantage of every inch. While photographers and paparazzi were stuck in bleachers trying to get the shot over each other, videographers armed with the Hi-Pod X1-P were able to get shots over the heads of the crowd with ease
0Los Angeles, CA, July 26th, 2003- The UK soccer club Manchester United came to Los Angeles, California to play the Mexican powerhouse team Club America. The two teams battled it out at the historic LA Coliseum with 60,000 sports fans in attendance, and a HI-POD crew was on the scene to capture the action from a unique perspective above and behind the goal. Rather than dull and flat straight on shots, the HI-POD lets the viewer see the play develop!
0Universal City, California, May 27th, 2003- Universal Premiered it’s comedy “Bruce Almighty” starring Jim Carrey and Morgan Freeman.
On hand for the Premiere at Universal’s City Walk, was the HI-POD, proving itself adept at getting celebrity shots over the heads of the gathered crowd.
0Las Vegas, NV, April 7th, 2003- The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention is the world’s largest electronic media convention with over 20,000 attendees from around the globe. HI-POD was there, and our camera system made quite an impression. Out of thousands of professional video products, Digitalvideoediting.com in their NAB Diary, mentioned the HI-POD first among the unique and interesting products exhibited at the show.
