This year HI-POD introduced a new delivery method for the US Soccer Development Academy games. All 240+ games were delivered as (HD) Video on Demand and as  MP4 downloads.  “This “netflix” approach to delivery is the obvious direction it has to go” stated HI-POD President Enrique Morales. “Lower costs, higher quality, greater accuracy, more immediacy are tremendous improvements to an already good product. Here are a few images of the HI-POD team setting up to cover the 2010 US Soccer Winter Showcase in Phoenix, AZ.  At this event, HI-POD films hundreds of games per day and fulfills DVD orders on request.  These tournaments happen several times a year and are always a lot of fun!

HI-POD has signed a multi-year lease for a Los Angeles warehouse office space that almost triples the company’s size. In addition to creating more space for inventory and product demonstration, the new location will provide a unique home for multiple green-screen insert sets.

“One of the services that we want to focus on this year is the expansion of our sports production division”, stated HI-POD’s President, Enrique Morales. “Having the green-screen stages always ready allows us to quickly produce sequences for our shows as well as for out-of-house productions.”
