(Dec 5-8, 2008-Lancaster, CA) HI-POD helped USSoccer take its youth Development Academy to a new level. By setting up 31foot HI-PODs on each of the 25 tournament soccer fields, HI-POD delivered stadium altitude shots without the stadium.
The HI-PODs eliminated the labor and safety issues of scaffolding, while adding the flexibility of repositioning the units for the best light.
The entire tournament was shot on high Definition video. For each of the 228 games, Blue ray dvds were created, duplicated and delivered to the head coaches of the respective teams by the end of the 4 day tournament.
Game highlights were also captured and delivered to USSoccer for viewing on the USSoccer website.
The HI-POD Core X4 performed magnificently throughout the tournament, even as constant 30-40 mph winds challenged the HI-POD crew on last day.

HI-POD partnered with US Soccer to produce 24 of the 32 games for the Development Academy Finals Week. HI-PODS towered over the fields for each game, providing each of the teams stadium altitude video without a stadium. The games were shot with multiple hi-pods and mixed with graphics and instant replays to create broadcast productions values.

Each game was delivered within hours of the match to the coaches, providing them the ability to review and analyze their player’s performance. National team coaches and scouts also studied the matches. The HI-POD videos were inserted into the US Soccer website for viewing by thousands of people who access their website.

HI-PODTV has created a rental package to record and broadcast your games. The package will consist of 4 to 6 hi-pods covering your game. These units capture a stadium-like view, without the stadium.

As all coaches will tell you , the camera must be in the air to be a useful teaching tool. The hi-pods do that exactly.
