HI-POD has introduced a FREE SOFTWARE CUT-UP PROGRAM for all HI-POD OWNERS and for schools that contract with HI-POD Operators to shoot their entire season.
This WEB-BASED solution not only allows for coaches to cutup and organize all of their plays , but also to organize plays according to players. In addition to the infinite playlists that can be created to breakdown the games, annotation functions are also available for the video. This means that TEXT, ARROWS, COLOR BOXES can be easily superimposed on plays to make it easier for coaches and players to see and study movements. Since the content is web-based this makes it easy for all players to view and also makes it easy to send entire playlists to college coaches and scouts. Content can even be watched on cellphones. Access to the video clips can also be restricted so as to prevent unwanted viewers from watching the content.
This also opens up the door to all HIGH DEFINITION CAMERAS as well. Up to now the camera restrictions on the HI-POD were due to what each different software brand would allow. Now that the HI-POD SOFTWARE SOLUTION can handle MTS files, any AVCHD camera can be used, as well as the traditional mini-dv cameras that have been used for years.
This software is free to all HI-POD owners and is offered as a service to coaches that want to hire a HI-POD operator for games. This “Shoot & Upload” service has the operator shoot the game with either the 31foot Endzone Camera or the 17foot Mobile HI-POD. Immediately afterwards, the operator uploads the footage to the school’s unique site, making it available to the coaches the following morning.
Please examine the following school website templates. Notice that on the far right of the interface are icons for each of the playlists. Click on an individual icon and all the clips within that playlist show up. You can change the quality of the clip by increasing the tab on the bottom right of the player from 360, to 480, to 720, and ultimately 1080 for full HD on the internet.

0HI-POD is preparing to criss-cross America again to cover your 7v7 football camps. Let us know when your camp takes place and we will “HI-POD” the entire event. (FREE OF CHARGE)
The HI-POD Van will be loaded with Endzone hi-pods and mobile hi-pods to cover your entire PASSING LEAGUE TOURNAMENT. We will place a HI-POD and operator on every field to cover every 7v7 game with our high definition cameras. You will even be able to watch the games on the hi-def screen inside on the HI-POD VAN.
Our goal is not to tell you about the HI-POD , but to show you the HI-POD in action. This will allow you and your team to see the hi-pod in operation, do hands-on tests in real LIVE “GAME” situations, and to form questions based on usage.
We know that purchasing a HI-POD unit is not an impulse buy. It must be planned for and budgeted for. By offering this free service we are confident that you will have the confidence to choose HI-POD.
0The mobile HI-POD covered the BCS game 1/7/10 at the Rose Bowl. In addition to all the network coverage , the mobile hi-pod was able to record from anywhere along the sidelines and endzone. Moving at the end of every play, the mobile hi-pod was able to achieve ideal positioning at all times.
Easily switching from Hi-Def video to still camera, the mobile hi-pod is able to satisfy almost any client. Not only it is great for covering the game, but the mobile hi-pod is great during the award ceremony. It gets the shot that no one else has got.
0HI-POD will begin training operators in Phoenix, AZ this Saturday and Sunday for the upcoming US Soccer Winter showcase. The HI-POD Van will travel to Phoenix with as many as 30 hi-pods for this training event.
The operators will be trained on the setup and disassemble of the 31 foot endzone unit. They will also be trained on the proper techniques required to shoot the US Soccer event.
Upon conclusion all operators will become certified on the use of the HI-POD and will be fully prepared to freelance with the 31foot hi-pod or the mobile hi-pod. These two products can be used to shoot many sports: Football, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, Basketball, volleyball, wrestling, water polo, hockey, rugby. etc.
