0Los Angeles , CA, August 11th, 2004- HI-POD returns to the WEVA Expo with the highly anticipated stability harness. This accessory takes the HI-POD to a new level. Adding to the HI-POD’s speed, mobility, and altitude; the stability harness gives the user an added measure of security as well as stability for steady shots. In addition the stability harness has a second attachment point that makes the HI-POD useful as a true crane, allowing sweeping or following shots, like in your favorite movies. You can even walk with the HI-POD to create steadi-cam movement. Once more, the HI-POD truly takes it to a higher level.
0Culver City, CA, June 11th, 2004- MTV hosted its 13th annual Movie Awards – the end-all, be-all destination for fans of the world’s biggest movie, TV, and music stars. The newest star at the event was not actually on the red carpet but above it. HI-POD, the Xtreme Camera Monopod, was used to videotape the celebrity red-carpet arrivals. Towering at its full extension of 15 feet high, the HI-POD grabbed amazing arrival footage, even though it was positioned in back of the pool of press photographers.
0Santa Monica , CA, June 6th, 2004- Outside the Kingsley & Gates mortuary the Press and well-wishers gathered to capture a glimpse of the Reagan family and the Reagan casket. Towering above the street lights, the HI-POD captured still photos and crane-like video shots of the historic moment. As the motorcade approached the tutor-styled funeral home, the HI-POD captured powerful stills of the arrival.
0Las Vegas , NV , April 19th, 2004- HI-POD attended the world’s largest annual gathering of media professionals, the NAB show in Las Vegas. In attendance representing HI-POD was CEO Enrique Morales, “The HI-POD guys” Billy Barrera, Hector Murga and Josh Daneshgar. In addition, Cinzia the ‘HI-POD Girl’ herself was on hand to show off the HI-POD and wow the crowd.
The 2004 Vegas show drew nearly 98,000 attendees from over 130 countries. NAB is the showcase for the latest and greatest in technology for the television, radio, film and telecommunications industries.
HI-POD was on hand for NAB’s spring show in Las Vegas at the Los Vegas Convention Center from April 19th- 22nd, 2004.
CEO Rick Morales was there to show off the HI-POD’s towering abilities, along with “The HI-POD Guys” Billy Barrera, Hector Murga and Josh Daneshgar. HI-POD’s very own supermodel Cinzia wowed the crowd and showed off the HI-POD’s extreme style!
The HI-POD crew gave many hands-on demonstrations, providing attendees with a first hand look at the Extreme Monopod system’s many uses and features. Thanks to everyone who checked us out!

0Glendale, CA , March 19th, 2004- HI-POD held a seminar on Friday March 12th from 9am to noon at EVS (Express Video Supply) in Glendale. HI-POD pulled in approximately 20 camera people to learn the ins and outs of how to operate a HI-POD. Not only will EVS be carrying HI-POD in its inventory, they will also offer several rental units. Now prospective buyers can try the HI-POD for themselves before buying.
