The big bulky news cameras were not successful and the news trucks with their camera masts were not able to move close enough to do justice to the event. The only tool that was able to achieve real coverage was the HI-POD.

HI-POD carrying cameraman Billy Barrera comfortably hopped off the subway and into a sea of 500,000 people. “No one got the shots I got,” exclaimed Mr. Barrera. “A helicopter was the only other way to do this event justice, and how much is that to rent per the hour?”. Cameraman Barrera went on to say “I was able to shoot a traffic light head on, pan over to the crowd and tilt the camera up to incrementally show and endlessly receeding sea of humanity. Amazing.”
