0Los Angeles, California, January, 2nd 2005- Camcorder & Computer Video Magazine featured the HI-POD Extreme Monopod on the cover of its January 2005 edition. The HI-POD was featured in an article on hot pro-quality video accessories listed as ‘must haves’.
0Marina Del Rey, CA, Dec 17th, 2004. SCORE (Senior Core of Retired Executives) held their annual banquet honoring the Top 3 business success stories of the year 2004. HI-POD was proud to be one of the three companies selected for this generous award.
MIKEL E. BORZI (project manager for LA housing and business team) for Mayor Han’s office, awarding the SCORE award to Enrique Morales of HI-POD Inc.
0(12/4/04 Cypress College) HI-POD attended the battle of the best in Girls High School Volleyball. The CIF state championship pitted the southern California winners of the top 5 divisions against the winners of the top 5 divisions in northern California.
Because of the limited space of the indoor facility, it would have been problem to set up a crane. The HI-POD’s speed, mobility, and altitude made it the perfect choice to capture beautiful shots from behind the serving line or above the net. At fifteen feet above the game, the tall monopod perspective of the camera was perfect, unlike the flatnes of a shot taken at eye-level.
0(10/29/04 Culver City) Smashbox was the site for many of LAFashion week’s events. CSI-Las Vegas star Warrick Brown took some time to check out the newest fashions. One tall beauty stopped him in his tracks. The HI-POD, the Xtreme Camera Monopod can elevate a video or still camera above a fashion show or above a crime scene. Love to see Mr. Brown introduce Ms. HI-POD to the CSI set next season.
0(10/24/04 Culver City, CA) Fashion Week returns once again to Los Angeles. Sponsored by Mercedes Benz, the fashion shows took place primarily at Smash Box Studios in Culver City. Hi-POD was invited to the weeklong event to document the different designers and their latest works.
