5/9/09 (Miami, FL) In preparation for HI-POD’s big tournament with US Soccer’s Development Academy in Sarasota FL later this month, HI-POD has been demonstrating the X4 and mobile HI-POD to some of Florida’s best High School Football teams. Starting with #1 Nationally Ranked St. Thomas Acquinas, HI-POD supervised the use and setup of the 31ft X4 endzone unit on the first day of spring practice.

HI-POD has begun an aggressive campaign to introduce the HI-POD Endzone and Mobile Products tothe South East United States. Starting in Florida, certification classes began on 4/18 & 4/19 and continued on 4/25 and 4/26. Classes were focused on the upcoming US Soccer Develpment Academy Tournament in Sarasota. This job will require 20-30 HI-POD Operators. The Classes also addressed the use of the 17 foot Mobile HI-POD for the upcoming High School Football season. NEXT Southern Florida (MIAMI)

HI-POD has introduced the Tournament ToGo Van. The new service includes 30 HI-POD X4 UNITS (31FT) and 30 mobile HI-PODS (17FT). The van has the capability of shooting in HD, creating DVDs on the spot (in HD or SD) . DVD duplication is also included. But the latest feature to be added is same day streaming of all recorded events on HI-PODCASTS.COM .

In a warm up for next week season opener, the new franchise team for the WSL- the SOL- played the Real SoCAL boys premier team at the Home Depot Center. This was the first chance people had to see Brazil’s Marta. The 3 time World’s Best Female Player did not disappoint.
Because the practice game was played on a practice field and not inside the stadium, the only effective way to capture training footage of the match was with the HI-POD Core X4. Positioned on the half-line, the HI-POD captured footage from 31 feet- simulating stadium-like footage, without a stadium.

HI-POD has introduced the Tournament Van. Armed with 30 HI-PODS, this van is ready to travel and setup 30 HI-PODS at any location in the United States. The tournament Van is Designed to cover Soccer Tournaments or Spring Football Passing League events. The HI-POD Tournament Van includes 30 of the 31 foot X4 units. Each of the X4 units can also be converted to the 17 foot mobile huddle camera system, providing great flexibility of movement for different types of events.

In addition to the ability to get great altitude shots and mobile altitude shots, the HI-POD Tournament Van can also shoot in High Def, create DVDs on the spot and Stream all of the games Same Day. The streaming video can be seen at HI-PODCASTS.COM , and embedded on the host school’s website. Each of the streaming videos can also be watched on cell phones and can be set up as pay per view events, making it possible for the clubs or schools to generate revenue from the streaming.
